Brandenburger Bra-board HT 4 belongs to the group of averagely dense, asbestos-free silicate materials.
Special material characteristics:
- High Long-Term Temperature Resistance
- Very Good Insulation Properties
- Resistant to Open Fire
- Resistant to Aggressive Gases Occurring in Industrial Furnaces, Soldering
- Systems and Flues
Areas of application:
BRA-BOARD HT 4 is used in chemical plants and in apparatus engineering, in casting facilities, flues, oil and gas burners. It is also used to good effect in the glass industry to insulate soldering baths and in electrical devices. It is also a preferred material for insulating electrical heater bands in plastics-processing machines.
Please Note:
Each application has its own typical stress factors, and an individual analysis is required for optimal heat protection. Protech's technical service will be happy to advise you.
