The Brandenburger BRA-GLA® SI insulation plate is resistant to high pressure and consists of a combination of glass fabric and thermoset resin.
Special material characteristics:
- Excellent Dimensional Stability
- Very High Long-Term Temperature Resistance
- Good Insulation Properties
- High Compressive Strength
- Coefficient of Expansion Similar to that of Steel
Areas of application:
This material is mainly used as heat shielding in combination with BRA-GLA® and S 4000®, for peak temperatures of more than 230° C to 300° C. It is also used in the plastics industry, in components used at constant temperatures around 250° C, when constant performance at all altitudes is required.
